P7 were so lucky to receive a visit from a parent, Pat Carville who shared with us some fantastic memorabilia from WWII including helmets, ration packs and gas masks. He even showed us some modern day Irish Army equipment and answered great questions about life as a solider. Real life experience and the chance to touch history in our classroom - fantastic! Thanks Pat for a great afternoon - he even sent the children home with an Army goodie bag. A great recruiter!
