Wow - Baby Abigail is on her feet!
During these unprecedented times our Primary 4 children have been missing out on their weekly Roots of Empathy Programme and a monthly visit from their Tiny Teacher Abigail and her mum Tara. But during Lockdown mum Tara has been keeping in touch and reporting to us all Abigail's latest developments.
In her latest update there are many wow moments to report to you. She is now 10 months old and can take a few steps by herself while holding on to her lion walker. She can stand for 10 seconds by herself. She now has five teeth and another two nearly through so she can eat a lot of new foods.
She can 'hi-5' and wave and is learning to share with her mum and dad, sometimes handing them what she is holding if they say "tata".
I know these latest wow moments will make you smile and I promise we will have mum and baby come visit us again when it is safe to do so. In the meantime, remember all you have learnt during your Roots of Empathy Programme. Share your feelings with others, keep babies and younger children safe, communicate with others, sleep well and stay safe yourselves.
"Goodbye Primary 4 we'll see you soon, see you soon, see you soon. Goodbye Primary 4 we'll see you soon, see you very soon."
