Another great Sports Day at St. Joseph’s, Meigh. Our children gave their all across a number of events competing for their House Colours. Their spirits were high and it was so lovely to hear the comradery, shouts and chants of encouragement towards each other. Mr McVerry did an amazing job organising everything as did our entire staff team ensuring everything ran smoothly. A massive thank you to our parent body for providing all the buns and cakes, all our special volunteers, too many to mention, and a particular word of thanks to Marcus Winters for ‘slaving’ over the BBQ from start to finish. And finally, thank you so much to all who turned up to cheer on and support our fantastic pupils. It was an all round brilliant day.
