What a brilliant day for our annual Sports Day! The weather was perfect and after lots of practising, we were ready to compete, encourage and, above all, have fun. We began the day with penalty kicks. ⚽️ This was followed by basketball. 🏀 We even had time to do our target throw before break time. 🎯
We went inside for our snack (or juice and treat to be precise😉) and then returned to participate in our track events: a sprint relay, a scoop race and obstacle relay. By lunchtime we were exhausted!😅
We had lovely lunch out on the school lawn today and used this time to rest and unwind, for the afternoon was our time to spectate and support our teammates in the older classes. We can’t wait to see which team has won overall but we are happy in the knowledge that we all tried our best!
