P6 recently set off on a walk to the remains of Killeavy Old Churches and surrounding graveyard to explore the vast history contained. They worked in groups to identify family members who are buried there, looked at the dates and surnames on the many tombstones and investigated the style of the church structure. They learned all about the famous St. Monnina who was instrumental in the long history of the churches. A very enjoyable trip to a fantastic location right on our doorstep!
