We had a very important visitor to our school today. Jack’s dad Kevin, came to school in his yellow Brennans bread delivery van. The Primary 3 children had plenty of questions to ask him about his important work as a bread deliverer. We learned about how bread gets from the bakery to the shops. We found out how this was done in the past. Even one hundred years ago bread was delivered, not by van but by horse! Kevin told the children all about his busy work and his love of bread. The children got to see inside his van and he even had bread for every member of the audience! It was a brilliant afternoon, enjoyed by all.
