Action Cancer
29th Nov 2016
The Action Cancer team visited school today to talk to P5, P6 and P7 pupils about the dangers and consequences of smoking and alcohol abuse. Pupils learned of the many toxins that cigarettes contain and the damage it can cause to major organs and also learned how second hand smoke can harm others. They got to see and touch real-life liver organs, both healthy and damaged, as well as viewing how teeth can look after years of smoking! A very informative day for everybody.
