Primary 7 Residential

22nd Jun 2017

What an amazing two days!!!! Primary 7 had a fantastic end of year trip at East Coast Adventures in Rostrevor. Day 1 was spend at Warrenpoint beach where the children took part in canoeing, banana boating and pier (or plantoon) jumping. After a lovely meal the children took part in the exciting nightline which proved very enjoyable for both staff and pupils..... 😀 After a warm night where everyone got lots of sleep..... it was on to a busy second day. The children were taken to a place outside Newcastle for wet bouldering. A great activity that saw everyone climb up the rocks and waterfalls, crawl through mud and jump into plunge pools before following the path back to the bus. The day was finished with lunch before heading back to school. The staff at East Coast were professional, friendly and amazing at encouraging and supporting the children over the last couple of days. Very proud at how well all the children got on, they all pushed themselves to try new things, encouraged each other and were well mannered  to everyone they came in contact with. Their families should be proud of each and every one of them.  I'm sure all children (and staff) will enjoy a warm bath and an early night after a busy two days....😀
