Today, Roald Dahl would have celebrated his 100th Birthday. A prolific novelist whose books are known to us all.
The Primary Fives spent today writing 'wish jar' stories, inventing their own candy/chocolate bars and creating bunting with some of Roald Dahl's most memorable quotes.
To finish off the day, after lunch we watched the infamous Matilda movie and enjoyed some sweet and salted popcorn as if we were in the cinema.
A very enjoyable day had by all.
Happy Birthday, Roald Dahl and thank you for the books which continue to inspire generations.
